    The Jeffrey Smart exhibition was excellent. While you may not "like" his paintings they are thought provoking and challenging. His work with shadow's and geometry is amazing. Highly recommended.
    Don't worry about going to the labyrinth to see Blue Poles. It's terrible.

    I love the brutalist architecture and some of the special exhibitions. The permanent collection though consist largely of abstract and/or modern art. There's very little explanation of the stories behind the art or style being used. Good place to go if you are looking for abstract/modern art.

    I always love to visit this when I’m in Canberra. Great curation and interesting collection, definitely better than most state galleries in Australia. Really enjoyed the Jeffery smart new show as well this time

    Beautifully curated art in a majestic building of ‘grand designs’. I especially love the outdoor sculpture garden. My photos show the fabulous food we had as part of the Tuscan lunch that accompanied our visit to the Jeffrey Smart exhibition. A wonderful way to spend a few hours with family or friends.
