  I stumbled across this shop with my daughter after looking through the building supplies store next door. We spent over an hour there - it was like being in a different, older, quiter world. I had to wait for the change room to try on a few dresses and one of the staff hung them for me, like in a department store (in the olden days before all the staff cut backs). She came and found me when the change room was free.
  I had my 8 year old daughter with me, who was in awe of almost everything. She picked up trinkets and opened furniture draws and doors. Both staff smiled at her and helped when she had questions. It was a pleasant shopping experience.
  I came out with 2 dresses, 3 books and a glass bowl (which my daughter chose) - all for less than $50.
  I will definitely go back and have already recommended the shop to several friends (two of whom commented on the dress I was wearing - purchased from Memory Lane earlier that day).
